HTC has unveiled new details of its new tablet device Flyer, which at first was to qualify as a Scribe, but in recent days the company decided to change the name, the same will be premiering at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress this 2011. This model is designed using Honeycomb, ie what would be Android 3.0, but there is speculation that the software would not arrive in time for the release of the tablet so in a market would start using Android 2.3, with the possibility of then upgrade to Honeycomb.
The new HTC Flyer seeks to follow the line of Samsung Galaxy Tab, a sort of large-sized phone with features inspired by the range of mobile Desire. Flyer will look to compete with the upcoming BlackBerry models Xoom Playbook and Motorola are planning to launch in March and April, respectively.
Clearly the market for tablets is becoming more and more competitive and when a company launches a new product to market, the other must answer promptly regardless of the lack of new technology, this is probably the reason why BlackBerry , Motorolla, HTC and even Apple will launch its new models almost on the same date.
