During last summer and talked about the possibility that Sony Ericsson was working on a new phone from the famous Walkman series, but something more "intelligent" than normal. Speak of what we now know as a Smartphone, but with enhanced multimedia capabilities. We do not have specifications, images or tracks of any kind, but if we take a look at the current range of the joint venture, we Smartphones Androids of all kinds: small, big, game-oriented, QWERTY keyboard, etc.
All in the family Xperia, it might be time to bring Android to the Walkman series. The model will appear in the market in 2011, and in light of how Sony Ericsson goes, we require that the camera has the new backlit Exmor sensors, or new technology Displaycon Reality Bravia screens. Sony Ericsson plans to launch four more phones before the end of the year, according to Bert Nordberg, CEO of the company.
Not clear if he speaks Smartphones and affordable handsets, but has re-emphasized that Android is the priority. He also noted that some of the phones will have the U.S. market as one market, rather than Asia or Europe as is usual, so that are already established agreements with a major operator on the other side of the pond.
Along with the already presented at the Mobile World Congress, Xperia Play, Arc, Neo and Pro may have a very competitive range this year. I bet that two of the unknown will be the renewal of the Xperia and its mini keyboard version, and another could be the first mobile dual-core, also known as Xperia Duo.
