After the announcement of the AMD Radeon HD 6990 (Here are the first pictures of the AMD Radeon HD 6990) Nvidia has a new video card that goes counter to the proposed AMD for hig-hand market, with the GeForce GTX 590, with two GF110 GPU, which should debut in February. The new GeForce GTX 590, has the heart of the GTX 580, this means that CUDA will have a total of 1024 Core, 3 GB of memory and 2 x 384-bit bus, but given the current GTX 580 TDP of up to 244 watts and has a single GPU, the GTX 590 will have lower frequencies.
With regard to the cooling system, the card should be fully covered by the heatsink with a fan 90 mm at the center, to ensure adequate cooling. At the moment did not know the frequencies of operation for both GPU and memory, much less the price at which it will be placed on the market.
