Hangover After we have after the analysis of the AMD 6970 in CrossFire X plays a return to normal with a plain little configuration. In this case the NVidia GTX 560 Asus Ti. The model name is ENGTX560 DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 Ti, a model belonging to the family of DirectCue II as a set of graphics that come Asus factory overclocked.
In the case of Ti 560 brings a clock to 900 MHz (compared to 822 of the base model) and a set of sinks and special fans designed to cool the most of every inch of the card. Even then find all the details of the analysis, I can anticipate that NVidia GTX 560 Ti is a fantastic graphic, possibly one of the best of the current scene.
A very worthy heir to the GTX 460. A brief description of test equipment and software used: The results you see in the following comparisons are all own, drawn from our tests and analysis of the different graphics cards in recent months. Divided into two tests: With all the default settings.
In all these benchmarks involved, the higher the score, the better. You will find the data frames per second (fps) on the top bar of each graph. The resolution is 1,680 × 1050. In all cases, the more fps the better. Maximum graphics settings all the limit values. Maximum graphics settings all the limit values (fan settings) except antialiasing (a 0) and a second test with all the best except antialiasing filter (a 0), and the quality of the textures that we place in standard (configuration standard).
Maximum graphics settings all the limit values (including filters) maximum graphics settings all the values to the maximum: We took two values of consumption, idle and full. The first started with the computer operating system without running any application or game. The second, with the computer as possible.
A lower consumption, better. The same, two idle and full values. The first value is the average temperature in operation with the computer without running any user process, and the other operating temperatures with extreme use: At the beginning of this post we mentioned that the Nvidia GTX 560 Ti was a worthy heir to the above 460.
And so it is. In fact, we say that the GTX 560 Ti is one of the best graphics on the market, at least in regard to value for money in which we both look good. The performance of this model is excellent, reaching as high-end graphics card for a moderate price, especially with that 239 euros is a direct rival for the AMD 6870 of around the same price range.
In view of our trials, NVidia GTX 560 Ti shows AMD than 6870 in all cases except Crysis, which shows almost equal. Overall we are talking about around 15-20% in favor of the latest NVidia about quite remarkable advantage. Speaking of energy consumption remains restrained. Is above the AMD when operating at full power (359 versus 290 watts), and practically the same in idle.
One of the features that have surprised us is the temperature, being one of the coolest graphics we've tested: 38 degrees on idle and just under 85 degrees in full, the latter figure beating the AMD 6870 by a handful of degrees Celsius. Respect of noise emitted talk about the NVidia GTX 560 Ti is very quiet, ranking as the best in the 500 Series NVidia in this regard, and as the level of the AMD 6850 and 6870, almost imperceptible.
A minidot to NVidia for this. What else to add? A great performance coupled with a high price for many, but not excessive for a high-end equipment. The Asus NVidia GTX 560 Ti is just that, a high-end graphics card with a pretty tight price. Note that the Asus model test has given us is the DirectCue II, a model factory changed significantly, and offer different heat sinks and fans is also factory overclocked, the core offering almost 80 MHz GF114 more than the base model.
It is possible that other models of NVidia GTX 560 Ti (just Asus and other manufacturers) offer slightly less performance, but should not be more than 5%. Asus NVidia GTX 560 Ti has been released for testing by Asus Ibérica. Please check our relationships with companies.
