A Chilean psychologist has reported that Facebook has closed his account to be considered "obscene" a picture that rose in his profile, which appeared to breastfeed her child in three months. Leslie Power, child development expert of 37 years, explained that on 31 January he received a notice from the company in informing him that his account had been closed for uploading a picture that it harms individuals and communities.
" "They told me Facebook protects their territory of obscene pictures," said Power, who wrote a message to the network administrators to ask for more explanations, but so far has received no response. The psychologist said that other women have been "censored" in the network for showing pictures like yours, what makes you think that "Facebook has some kind of prejudice with photos of women breastfeeding." In their own Facebook accounts are on "Breastfeeding is not obscene," "Censorship and say that my picture is attentive or obscenity shows a complete ignorance of what is breastfeeding and early bonding," said Power.
The woman alleged that the account closure has affected their work situation, and who used Facebook as a professional platform. "Many women and professionals make their inquiries through Facebook, and now I can not publish articles or projects," lamented the psychologist. Said it expects a response from the company before putting the item in the hands of lawyers.
"I hope I hear and see a child that breastfeeding is not obscene."
