MOUNTAIN VIEW - Great maneuvers "social" in-house Google, with at least two goals, including one unofficial. The first, technical and absolute value: neatly categorize the content that users share on the web. The second, unspoken but obvious, to carve out a real role in the seething sea of social networks, in which Big G has so far kept a low profile (Orkut's success in South America separately).
And third, growth figures in hand, undeclared but obvious: bring back the name of Google to its former glory in the firmament of the Web, which now shines more than any other star on Facebook. Mountain View does not really compete directly in the territory of social networks, at least not yet.
It has a different function and provides services strongly characterized. And by the time chose not to counter the "social", but to fully utilize its technological power to surround your opponents. And make sure that the success of social networks is also an element of growth for Google.
It is not yet time to "Google Me", then. But the new features are now in the plans of the company, only the first stage of a series of maneuvers that will make the richest of the Google ecosystem, especially in the social key. New features. Apparently a small change, but with an ambitious goal: to raise the perception of the experience of qualitative research, providing advice "signed" by those who belong to their contact network. A level of detail into a social network is impractical, because too broad, but Google's technology is now able to administer.
Google effectively "wraps" the river of social networks, and it becomes the banks and the mouth. At the time, the networks are monitored by Google respective Twitter, Flickr and Quore. Facebook is not for now, although Bing Microsoft offers a monitoring function of the "like". Clearly, the integration with Twitter and Flickr, however, is a priority for Google, especially in light of the combined use those particular features of the Google Network and during the rebellion in North Africa.

E 'can make their own private connections, and the system is able to recognize with some accuracy the identity of the user on other networks, and connect to your Google, which functions as a true "concierge" of the web.
