Another major terminals had the MWC 2011 was the Optimus LG 2X. Became official in December and has now been over the show in Barcelona where we could see it in operation first. It should be noted that time was the first mobile dual-core, hardware that has been followed by others as the excellent Galaxy S II.
The Optimus LG 2X should provide overwhelming power, and somewhat true. However, there are a number of aspects in which we put the label needs to improve, but by no means be considered a bad phone. First of all, Android 2.2 in a time when the vast majority of new devices are coming with the latest 2.3.
Optimus 2X is supposedly powerful as few and what better way to take advantage of all the virtues of the new version to take full advantage, right? Not so. Set to launch with Android 2.2 but LG has confirmed that the update to 2.3 soon. We'll see when is this 'soon'. Then we design the device, which is in line with previous LG which, in my view, are far behind what we see in HTC, Samsung or Nokia itself.
Maybe it's because after testing the Galaxy S II the remaining terminals are not enough ... or because LG continues to maintain a line of design, in my view has always been much better. At the end of the day this is a matter of taste and what each one thinks about the design. On the domestic side the Optimus 2X LG is not bad.
His fluency is absolute and the system, as we have said Froyo Android 2.2 will, quite literally flies. Missing polish some aspects - certain specific moments where the screen appears to hang - but is postulated as one of the most powerful mobile devices on the market today. It's fast and ideally suited to - almost - any of our taps on the screen.
Loads of games are very small and move from one application to another is pure immediacy. Also noteworthy is the HDMI video output and 8-megapixel rear camera. For now, like other terminals presented in this Mobile World Congress, yet the price is not known but it has been confirmed will be released in April in Spain and will be with Vodafone exclusivity under a month.
