AMD has unveiled Turks, code-named the new GPU designed for the low end of the market and will be sold under the name of Radeon HD 6570 and Radeon HD 6670 which will replace the current Radeon HD 5570 and 5670. The GPU is developed at 40 nanometers, and is equipped with 480 stream processors, 16 ROPs and interfaced to the memory with a 128-bit bus.
The first video card, will be the Radeon HD 6570, which will have the GPU frequency to 650MHz, coupled with 2GB of GDDR3 memory operating at 1800MHz. The Radeon HD 6670 will instead be marketed with the 800MHz GPU coupled with 1GB of GDDR5 memory, clocked at 4000MHz. Here is a screenshot of GPU-Z.
