One of the typical rumors this week we talk about AMD's interest to create a new ARM chip. This is a rumor, no official information at least for now. Something serious or is simply a counter to Project Denver NVidia? Perhaps because the idea is the same: the two leading manufacturers of x86 CPU that could broaden its product portfolio with a new microprocessor model very different, in principle oriented mobile tablets and given the history of the ARM architecture.
However few (if any) details have surfaced about the alleged CPUARM preparing AMD, although it says it could be competition for NVidia Tegra 2, giving great prominence to the integrated GPU. At first this will be a long-term development, in order to within a few years. If that is true, of course, because although it has NVidia confirmed their interest in Project Denver, AMD has made no official statement and there is a view that they will do.
All I know in a few months. Track | CHW.
