From Japan report that PlayStation Portable 2 will have 3G and OLED display

During the week we left behind has not stopped talking about the January 27 date on which it is speculated that Sony wants to show the renewal of its PlayStation Portable. A device that many expect, and it is necessary to display weapons after the presentation of Nintendo 3DS. In this day still sounds the same date, and does so from the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, which also dares to overtake a couple of specifications that if confirmed are very important: OLED screen and 3G connectivity.

They also claim to be a new product in terms of hardware used, and appear on the market in 2011. At this point we have little doubt that AMOLED screens are the most interesting for use in a portable device, not only for quality, proven solutions and compared with LCD (with some exceptions), but because they can produce cheaply.

So I do not think a crazy idea to meet with a good screen in the new Playstation Portable. But it is strange that the same possibility is not used in mobile phones made by Sony Ericsson joint venture, which continues to opt for LCD, with some improvements via image processing, we talk about Reality Display.

The second specification seems quite logical and expected competition, data connectivity provides unlimited possibilities to a portable device, as we are discovering with mobile phones. In Japan the service would be served by NTT DoCoMo, the system also will support WiFi. This is a trimmed the gap with the waited PlayStation Phone / Xperia Play, but we must remember that the mobile phone joint venture chooses the Android operating system, with all the possibilities Google services and applications in this report.

The phone would be presented in February, has anyone told Mobile World Congress?. Another important difference between them: Playstation Portable 2 may not be making calls. Turn to affect the information is not official, coming from a major newspaper in Japan as Nikkei, but they seemed really interesting to share, and if possible we can generate a debate on the issue of substance.
