GE Nucleus, the brain energy of our home

As I overtook the other day, the digital home is one of the trends of the 2011. More connected and intelligent appliances together with a more controlled and responsible consumption of our homes will increasingly digital. Nucleus is General Electric's bid for control of energy in the home of the future but now.

This device is responsible for storing data on our electricity consumption and communicate them to the supplier. She earns an instantaneous reading of our consumption and we, in theory, information on how, when and how we consume it. If we fear the appliances compatible with the new course, which incidentally are GE.

Nucleus is the size of a mobile phone charger and its only task is to store data on our electricity consumption and give us information almost in real time of such use in our own mobile phone. The ultimate goal is that the consumer has a valid tool that bill each month to understand, analyze and make decisions about where energy consumption and if it does well for both your pocket and for the environment.

This command post will also be able in future to control water, natural gas and renewable energy sources and the mix of services that come with the implosion of electric vehicles.
