HP dm1z, the evolution of the ultraportable with AMD Fusion

Another interesting notebooks under the AMD Fusion platform is the HP dm1z. We have to consider an ultraportable, since both their physical characteristics (11.6 inches and 1.60 kilograms) and its hardware (AMD GPUAMD E-350 with integrated 6310) fits the model of small equipment and restrained power.

Thus, HP has that processor dm1z 'Grass' E-350 AMD, dual core and 1.6 GHz AMD introduced a few days, and as you probably know that brings the novelty of being an APU (Accelerated Processing Units) in which dedicated CPU and GPU have been developed on the same chip. We also have 2 GB of DDR3 memory, 250 GB disk and VGA video outputs and HDMI.

The battery, one of the most important, is 6 cells and increases the range to the 9.5 hours, according to HP officials. This team, which has not yet been released in Spain if not in the U.S. alone, will cost $ 450 with the above characteristics. Upon arrival in Europe is expected to cost about 450 euros, although not yet confirmed when it will be.

Call it an ultraportable for the elderly, half way between netbook and laptop of all life in both specs and price.
