Apple blocks an application to use the Sony electronic book

Apple has announced a policy of charges for the contents of the applications in your shop that prevent third parties from engaging without going through your In-App System Purchase. The first sign that it will apply to the letter has been blocking an application submitted for approval by Sony. This is an application that redirected to the catalog of your ebook and allowed to read from an Apple mobile.

The company wants to control the charges to be made from the platform to receive the commission thereof. The guide on policy applications, Apple has introduced a criterion by which applications they use a different charging system than the company, In-App Purchase, "will be rejected." It is unknown what will happen with existing applications and accepted previously.

Several groups of editors of online media, such as France, have expressed their concern to the extent that Apple requires the control of subscriptions to its online content and it is the owner of the data on its audience. Apple sees a 30% commission. Analysts interpreted this move by Apple believes that the content business (selling music, movies, books ..) can not grow and sustain their business model solely on the sale of equipment.
