We have no doubt that Android is the operating system of fashion, more and more gadgets that use the Google OS, tablets, smartphones and even some laptops are a few examples. But its mass is advancing by leaps and bounds, to the point that Parrot has introduced a new car radio with Android. This is the new Parrot Asteroid under the theme "Internet in your car" this radio is not sent to play music, we can also navigate, make calls, including utilziar GPS.
It has a 3.2-inch TFT display, microSD memory slot, GPS system, four USB 2.0 ports and 3G technology. While applications from Android Market will not be compatible with the Parrot Asteroid as they were designed for mobile, Parrot has already announced its interest in the development of programs for this device.
Yet the radio already has some pre-installed applications, for example Coyote! help us avoid the radar of the road or Ecogasolina to help us save fuel and find the cheapest service stations. The new Parrot Asteroid will be available in Spain from next May and will cost 299 euros, and then we leave a promotional video.
