Apple prepares its mapping service

Apple prepares its own mapping service. Although it has an agreement with Google Maps, the  Steve Jobs company did not give up this offer. One indication of this is that tracking the legal information contained in operating system IOS5.


In a section called Data Map, contains a listing of licenses for a significant number of companies related to the mapping. The list includes: CoreLogic, dedicated to mark the boundaries of a property; Getchee focused on China, India and Southeast Asia, Increment P Corp, which provides traffic and location data in Japan, Localeze dedicated to local businesses; MapData Pty Ltd., Sciences Inc, working in Australia and New Zealand, DMTI, dedicated to the postal codes of Canada, TomTom, providing geolocation, Urban Mapping, which specializes in information about neighborhoods (schools, economic indicators, crime statistics ...) and Waze, which provides traffic information based on data matching.
