NVidia GTX 560 Ti, the new graphics card that many expected

Met forecasts and NVidia GTX 560 Ti is filed within the dates specified. The new NVidia graphics card hits the market to stand up to the GPU AMD, and we must recognize that the stakes are very good. NVidia GTX 560 Ti enters the market with the same magic we've seen in other models of the 500 Series, both the GTX 580 (discussed previously) and the lower step, the GTX 570.

Arguably GTX 460 560 is an improved, with a very good job behind resulting in excellent performance. First go to your specifications and technical features: It seems history repeats itself with the GTX 460, then again we have a new GPU in an existing family. While 580 and 570 opted for GF110, NVidia GTX 560 GPU GF114 Ti includes a brief on the previous evolution.

Maintaining the 40-nanometer process and improved all parameters of the GPU, highlighting the frequency (822 MHz) and memory (4 GHz) over previous models of the 500 Series. Also, the new GPU is much more efficient in terms of energy, down to the 180 watt TDP compared to more than 200 top models posed.

Because of this, so do the additional power connectors, which become "only" two six pins each. NVidia Based on internal testing, performance and power of the NVIDIA GTX 560 is located between 470 and 480 passes, always below the GTX 570 and also above the GTX 460, as indeed is logical. As we always say, with the GTX 560 can benefit from any current game at any graphics configuration, provided the rest of the hardware is consistent.

Nor is it a surprise, the world of graphics processors is proceeding at a pace quite barbaric in recent years and this type of model upper-middle range can with all that extra pair. For now have a great painting, and seems a more than worthy successor of the previous 460 that, for many, was the best of the first generation 'Fermi'.

Ti NVidia GTX 560 brings a stunning performance for a very successful, 239 euros, which place it at the height of the current AMD 6870 (219 euros) and slightly below the new 6950 1 GB presented this morning (259 euros) as well as its namesake with 2 GB of memory (275 euros). We'll see how it behaves in actual tests and how results in a direct comparison with all these competing models.

However, it will still sing better than a complete victory for NVidia, because there are still some important aspects to know. Although we saw that GTX 580 will greatly improve the temperature and energy consumption, it is expected that the evolution of the 560 Ti is even greater. Will he achieve the efficiency given by AMD? We'll see when we have in our hands, hopefully soon.

As discussed, NVidia GTX 560 Ti is available for a price of 239 euros, the official price for Spain. The availability will depend on specific manufacturers of each model, which now are slowly introducing their products and hopefully have them sent to distributors in the coming days. As always, the final price will depend on both the specific manufacturer and model as the store or dealer where purchased.
