Among the many innovations that Samsung has been presented in recent days, we find an interesting evolution for their glasses 3D displays, and have decided to include Bluetooth in them. It seems that Koreans like to catch the wireless connectivity. With respect to the infrared, the conventional method of communication with the display of this type of glasses, we need not be aligned with respect to the transmitter located on the TV, so we gain some freedom of movement.
Obviously the nature of the infrared connection, leads us to meet the communication is cut off if something intercedes on its way, Bluetooth issue is solved. The new glasses only work on Samsung 3D TV models that have appeared this year, the former using infrared devices will not have a way to adapt the 3D glasses with Bluetooth.
The design of the glasses takes a new line, with two blades that have thinner batteries and Bluetooth receivers at the end of them. The set weighs about 30 grams, and can be recharged without plugging. Samsung has developed an inductive charger, which can be recharged up to four glasses.
Samsung has not announced either pricing or availability date of the glasses, as a separate product, but we know that appear in the latest 3D TVs from Samsung. Track | PCMag
