Each year, Sony usually choose one of their range of headsets to paste a good look at the technical and, above all, aesthetics. This time it is the turn to your computer headset family. The company's new models Japan are basically three, depending on the type of use you want them and, above all, how we want to fit our ear.
We have from small intraatrial Sony DR-EX13DPV, a headphone and microphone large maxilla and the Sony DR-AG100, designed to spend long hours in front of a video game. The first representatives of this new range are the Sony DR-EX13DPV. This is intraatrial with microphone built into the cable for video or voice calls over IP.
The DR-EX13DPV equipped with a 9mm EX diaphragm which gives it a very acceptable sound reproducing the voice, which is its primary function. These helmets are not very common format for connection to a PC, and its small size makes them more appropriate to wear with laptops. The Sony DR-EX13DPV weighs only 9 grams and are double connection 3.5 mm jack, so they are not particularly suitable to serve as a mobile hands-free unless we use an adapter.
It costs only 20 euros. A step above the small DR-EX13DPV are the Sony DR-and DR-ZX102DPV ZX103USB. Both are identical in appearance and size. Without going to completely cover the ear, these headphones do offer more comfort for long periods of time. As above, these other headphones have volume control on the wire and a diaphragm of 6 mm with a frequency response from 10 to 22,000 Hz.
The main difference between them is that the DR-ZX103USB change the input and output connections for audio for a handy accessory that can be left free USB audio ports, for example, some speakers. The USB connection also powers a small noise cancellation system attached to the cord. The price of the Sony DR-ZX102DPV is 30 euros.
His companion with USB and noise cancellation raises the price to 50 euros. The last representatives of this new batch of headphones, the Sony DR-AG100 and enter fully into an application focused on video games. Headphones are large to cover the entire ear, and incorporate a folding microphone headset jawbone low pressure to improve comfort.
A less attractive detail is that it also incorporates the volume controls on the cable, when most gaming headsets do in the casing. The volume slider is added here a button to mute the microphone if you need to talk to someone outside the game. The characteristics of the diaphragm and audio quality are otherwise identical to those of DR-ZX102DPV.
The price of the Sony DR-AG100 is 50 euros. All models will go on sale this April.
