Facebook, money for people who watch commercials

ROME - Ten cents (dollar) to watch a commercial. That 's what Facebook will begin to offer its users who agree to look to the bottom of the video advertising, while playing or surfing the social networks. This is the latest development Deals on Facebook, the platform that offers discounts and offers to users.

And it is a crucial step in the economy of scale of the social network, so that in fact has its own currency, the "Credits", expendable (for now) on the website and applications on this available. An issue supported by the fact that this summer, "Credits" will be the only form of payment accepted for the app on Facebook and third party games.

How it works. The new initiative is the result of an agreement between Facebook and TrialPay, a company that deals with car advertising through social applications, a proprietary platform called Dealspot. This can be used by developers of games for Facebook, the popular virtual worlds such as Zynga (Farmville, Frontierville, Mafia Wars and others) to enter the game the ability for users to watch video sponsored until the end.

The disturbance will be rewarded with credits of Facebook, a player's account immediately deposited, which can spend them within applications and games available on the social network. The ability to see the Videospot not appear only during games but also in the normal navigation of the site's intention is to make money viral on Facebook, creating an ecosystem not unlike banking.

Given the volume of business applications behind the social and the millions of users, Zuckerberg's move could be a great idea. Although currently limited, the possibilities of extension are evident. Who gains. The model is interesting because it suggests a situation of income for everyone: the advertiser is sure that his spot will be seen and heard to the end, the user can benefit from immediate access to the money / credits earned.

And of course Facebook will increase the number of people who use the credit as a real currency, attracting more investors and customers. A situation "win-win" that could go to affect the way in which benefits from advertising on other containers. On Youtube, listings in girth can be excluded.

But how will it be before someone asks Google to be paid to watch too?
