The magazine Playboy launched a special website iPad

Hugh Hefner, the Playboy founder, announced Wednesday the launch in March of an edition of the famous magazine iPad. In a message posted on his Twitter account, the sprightly octogenarian also reveals that older editions of Playboy will be available for viewing through the tablet from Apple. "Great news! Old and new editions of Playboy will be available on iPad from the month of March," writes Mr.

Hefner, who at age 84, has just announced that he had proposed marriage to his girlfriend Crystal Harris, sixty years his junior. To read the magazine on iPad, a subscription is necessary. Hugh Hefner did not give details on the iPad edition of the magazine, but a question from a visitor, he replied: "Playboy iPad will not be censored." Apple applies a strict policy on manners or pornography or even nude photos are allowed on the app store.

A rule so strict that the drafting of the fashion magazine Dazed and Confused had nicknamed his edition iPad "the Iranian issue." Playboy already offers an iPhone application that costs 99 cents and contains no nude pictures. Playboy said Thursday that his "publishing iPad" is not an application, but a website "iPad compatible" with additional features.

This edition subscription will not be subject to validation of Apple, which allows Mr. Hefner to say that his magazine will not be censored.
