Samsung Galaxy Tab over two million units sold

The sales expectations Samsung's own back in September were 10 million units a year, on a very high considering the very competitive price with the coming to market. In its first two months getting the thing were encouraged to spend one million tablets Samsung Galaxy Tab. Continue growing with the figure may be difficult in view of the new tablets, with Honeycomb, are being announced, and even Samsung over from the current Tab Galaxy about to be submitted as soon as the Mobile World Congress as the last leaks.

But back to the version we have right now in the market, we can report that there were over two million units sold worldwide, three months after its entry into the market. It seems that the progression so far is going well. One of the reasons that help make the product, regardless of price, it is available in 94 countries, Samsung got agreements with 200 operators, so it is a tablet that can be achieved quite easily.

Shelling some figures, we can report that half a million tablets were sold in Europe, the market has welcomed better. The United States has reached the 350,000 units and in Asia, 330,000 tablets. Samsung clearly Galaxy Android Tab is the best selling tablet, and the first that we can achieve as successful, but quite far from the numbers that get * iPad *, which managed to sell a staggering 7.3 million between October and December, a comparison direct.

Although dual-core renewal (Nvidia Tegra 2) was present at the Mobile World Congress, appear on the market months later, and the current version of Galaxy Tab will have time to draw some versions, one with connectivity "only WiFi" and other LTE (video above).
