Microsoft releases final version of Office 365

Microsoft today released the final version of Office 365, a range of office software from the Internet cloud. It offers instant messaging, Web Apps suite bureaucratic Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), collaborative tools and an online gathering module. Microsoft almost guarantees one hundred percent security service.

The beta vesion is out in April and offers different versions and prices depending on customer needs. Microsoft prevailing in the desktop software, resident on the computer, now makes its biggest bet on cloud computing where programs reside on the Internet, always accessible and updated.

It is based on Office 2010, available in 96 languages. According to comScore, in March 2011, 50 million users had used Office Web Apps. Today, the very pattern of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer will be responsible for the official presentation. The ceremony was preceded by an unprecedented Google message criticizing Microsoft's offer and defend their own.

In a corporate blog, says that Google Apps is designed to work in teams while the offer from Microsoft is designed for individual use. Meanwhile, Google argues, Office 365 is optimized for Windows-based terminals, which reduces the flexibility of its applications, Google Apps is open to all systems.

Another criticism of Google is that Office 365 features 11 different plans, three editions and two levels, while Google Apps is available for five dollars with no term contract. Google insists that Microsoft Office is a desktop solution while the web is entirely yours.
