The signing of haute couture and perfume Pierre Cardin also wants to be on the runways technology. Now has launched a tablet in the UK. The pocket-lint titled wondering if the design is above the substance because the tablet does not carry the latest in accu software. Surprised that the operating system chosen is the Android 2.2 (Froy) when Google itself has newer versions of its mobile operating system.

The tablet has a seven-inch multi-touch screen with a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels. Samsung takes a Cortex-A8 S5PV210 with an internal memory (expandable) 4 gigs when, for example, has Sasmsung of 16. The tablet comes in wifi version for the 3G connection is required to add a receiving device.

It has a 1.3 megapixel webcam. It weighs 520 grams and the detail is in its original box and protective cover. The price is 275 pounds (316 euros). Its entry into the European market is produced at the same time of the publication of a study by Forrester which says that some 13 million tablets will be sold in Europe this year, with Apple taking the best part of the market (70%).

Worldwide, 48.2 million sold, 50% in the U.S.. According to the survey, competition from Apple is more likely in Europe (except UK) because the Apple store network is less dense. In the United States has opened 238 and in the UK, 52. Acer, Archos, Asus, HP, Motorola, RIM, Samsung and Toshiba have released tablets in Europe, but the study found prices too high to shade Apple difficult.
