Samsung ST6500 and ST30, new cameras other Koreans

Few new photographs, at least in the realm of simple compact cameras, we will stay for the rest of the year. Companies do not want to speculate, and all strive to show what they have for the consumer by the year 2011. Samsung, which at CES and he gave us a good crop of compact cameras and camcorders, in Spain presents its latest innovations.

The two most interesting are the Samsung ST6500 with its angular design to be more ergonomic, and Samsung ST30, a model the size of an actual camera. Both cameras can see in the image above. The largest model, the Samsung ST6500, offers a 16 megapixel sensor, 3-inch touchscreen, 5x zoom which starts at an angle of 26 mm and video recording in high definition.

As we see, it is modest features but these cameras do not claim otherwise. Samsung Touch puts the design, with an inclination of 7 degrees, which should improve ergonomics. It also highlights the Smart Touch 3.0 interface that seeks to mimic the control of the cameras to the menus we know in advanced phones.

Its price is 250 euros. Precisely with a telephone had to compare their model ST30 Samsung to give some notoriety. Because, otherwise, little more could you sharpen the Samsung ST30, with a very discrete features: 10 megapixels, face detection and 3x zoom from 28 mm. It is assumed that its compact size should be an advantage, but this has now carry a smartphone, so the comparison is not convincing for a camera that cost 100 euros since March.
