Microsoft Windows starts sending 8 to manufacturers, "MetroUI based alternative interface?

Multitude of specialized forums are reporting that Windows products Windows 8 is coming to manufacturers to begin to test it on their computers. The name that is being distributed is "Windows Server vNext 8 and Pre-Release Program." Microsoft partners like HP and Dell are having access to it through Connect, the external system testing of the company's Redmond, obviously need an invitation code for download.

Turning to discuss details of the new OS, is expected to fully 3D interface, using the current system hardware. Rather than to achieve stunning effects that many end up disabled, the new interface will present a more efficient interactions and ultimately a more dynamic system. Following the interface, we also hope that the "tiles or tiles dynamic" that is becoming popular Windows Phone 7 reaching the desktop interface MetroUI.

Understand to be presented as an alternative to the main interface, and internally is called Mosh. Another of the rumors that accompany news is what they call "fast hibernation," which allow the system to save the current state of applications and documents in a time between 3 and 6 seconds.

Surely it will be working especially in the integration of SSDs into the system, although in this aspect Windows 7 and was ahead of the competition. The first beta of Windows 8 is expected next September, and some suggest that we will see in operation in June, during the conference organized by All Things Digital (Wall Street Journal).

We remind you that in the past CES was shown with the current Windows 7 interface, but running on ARM platforms. We remind you that Microsoft has been working with ARM on the development of the new system, and thanks to that the Redmond company already has new partners in the market, NVIDIA, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments, which will power their tablets Windows 8, hence the need for a second tiles based interface.
