The Blackberry Playbook could run Android applications

The importance of applications in the world of mobile operating system for tablets is reaching the point that RIM would be proposing the inclusion of a program to virtualize and Android applications to use the Google operating system in its next tablet, the Playboook. Chosen as a key component of the QNX operating system seems to be Blackberry Playbook Dalvik, Android also used as a virtual machine.

What all this means for consumers? So basically that can run Android applications on a RIM device or tablet bearing QNX. And that is now Playbook. With the war and platform developers struggling to be chosen by the public, to qualify for such aid can make the future a lot of different teams.

RIM at the moment and looks set to take a big step. Track | BGR.
