Facebook has introduced in the U.S. more options so that the Internet can define their current romantic relationship in your account profile. Particular has added two "in a civil union" and "domestic partners." Huffington Post explains, the change was introduced following a recommendation of a coalition that created the network of advocacy groups to combat cyber homosexuality and discrimination.

In the Spanish version do not see these two concepts. When identifying your emotional state, the Spanish member of Facebook has the following options, which are also U.S.: single, has a relationship, promise, married, is complicated and has an open relationship, widowed, separated and divorced.

According to a spokesman for the company this change had been widely applied and the objective is to provide options to the members of the network to reflect the genuine and authentic relationship status. For now, the change is introduced in the U.S., Canada, UK, France and Australia.
