Happy Birthday, "Like" button that makes rich Facebook

COSI 'small, so easy, so powerful. The button "I like" Facebook does these days a year to live on the web. There are no official figures but it is reasonable to estimate that each day is clicked a billion times by more than 500 million members of the most popular social network in the world. A huge amount for a button that you tap the bottom of instinct but quietly outlines our tastes and keeps them in mind.

Yes, because when we know that video that a friend of ours, that quote, the book, that phrase also like us, we not only him happy. Mark Zuckerberg's empire is based primarily on the acquisition, and hence the knowledge of everything that we like. He knows how to turn this wealth of tastes in money: thus the sequence of these clicks is emerging day by day our profile of consumers, and companies are waiting to follow us with their promotions.

Some have called this river uninterrupted "like" as the true buzz of social networking, a sort of low frequency sometimes annoying that sometimes we have to cancel our minds to better read the content they put our friends shout common. It will be, while Facebook users do not stop using it.

To the point that the various "J'aime", "I like", "Like," "Me gusta", "Gefällt mir" and so on, created as a test (at least in official statements of the company's Palo Alto) did not take that much to invade the majority of web content. At the end if they are appropriate. Call them, wear them, multiplying them, within the social network, and revived them out of it.

A continuous flow and multidirectional, though keep in mind that - according to Facebook-button pops up every day that 10 000 new sites and currently appears on 2.5 million sites. An idea so brilliant that almost one wonders why not come before the giant Google, which in fact has only implemented a few days ago as a "+1".

Even here people share and report the value and content that way with everything that goes with it. The button developed by Mountain View grow, that's for sure. But for now, "I like" Facebook is the undisputed leader. It can celebrate.
