100A Windpad MSI, the MSI honeycomb tablet at the CeBit revving at a price promise

Although today is not just the day to talk about another tablet than the iPad 2, the tablet market with Android continues to grow. The latest addition is the MSI WindPad 100A, Honeycomb version of MSI Windpad 100W, which integrates Windows 7. The Windpad 100A is an 10.1-inch tablet, in fact, very little difference in the Samsung and Motorola models presented at the Mobile World Congress 2011.

Like them, Nvidia Tegra 2 incorporates dual-core and 16 or 32GB of internal storage. Although we could not get more specific information during our visit MSI booth in CeBIT 2011, physically, the MSI WindPad 100A is as light as the Motorola Xoom thanks to its aluminum shell. The operating system that could test model, of course, was Froyo Android, but make sure that MSI will be available directly with Honeycomb.

Among the fifferences to give personality to this tablet found the presence of a USB 2.0 standard size that accompanies a MiniHDMI and microUSB. The front also find a small optical trackpad that allows you to move through menus with one hand without using the touch screen which, incidentally, is capacitive.

On the other side, a slider to lock the shift of the screen in the position to be at this moment, an interesting ADDITIONS certainly appeal to more than one. The rearview camera is a 5 megapixel and a VGA front. The 100A WindPad MSI hit Europe in June and here comes the most interesting price.

The basic version without 3G 16GB and will cost 379 euros, an amount not yet officially confirmed, it could be very damaging to similar tablets positioned around 800 euros. Failing that Apple moves on, the market for the tablets gets really warm.
