The cars are connected to Internet

Cars are also on the CeBIT fair. Jason Johnson, an engineer responsible for technology development for Ford in Europe, insisted that his revolution is similar to Ford's Henry, creator of the brand. "We do not make equipment for the privileged few but for all customers," he said. The equipment referred to is called SYNC and will be in 80% of its nuevs cars worldwide in 2012.

This technology consists of a touch screen built into the dashboard and understanding of voice commands that allow you to manage multimedia functions of the car, calls, messages or temperature. In addition to having maps and internet connection through a 3G or bluetooth external via phone, SYNC has two USB sockets and an SD card reader used to include new maps or make multimedia content but also to one of the great enigmas of the system: update.

SYNC uses software that is developed between Ford and Microsoft itself and must be periodically updated to recognize new devices or update the maps and additional services. Jason Johnson is not viewed as an impediment: "If you update your iPad and mobile, why not the car?". It may not be a sufficient argument for clients with no knowledge or desire to load the improvements and not feel like they go to the shop for it.

Ford is not the only brand that has accessories for automobiles. Volkswagen play at home and has spared no efforts to display its commitment to CeBIT. Along the exposed area dedicated to sound vans under the banner Sound Foundation and wants to become the favorite form of transport bands.

Regardless of this appearance, his real breakthrough ParkAssist 2011 is 2.0, a revamped version of its service parking aid. The wizard makes the driver only need to use the pedals during the maneuver, the steering wheel becomes automatic. Veteran Range Rover line of SUVs would like to join the trend for social networks EvoqueCity, a social network which wants to encourage their clients to discuss what designs interest them, the routes that do and places to recommend in each city .
