Barack Obama will meet with technology giants

U.S. President Barack Obama will meet, at a meeting in San Francisco, Thursday, Feb. 17, California, several executives from major tech companies. As part of this summit, Obama should talk to Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, Eric Schmidt and Google. According to ABC, Mark Zuckerberg, founder of social networking site Facebook, is also on the list of participants.

The meeting is organized as private, but the agenda should be innovation and job creation. This meeting comes a month after announcing the departure of Steve Jobs sick leave. "At my request, the board gave me a medical leave so I can focus on my health. I remain CEO and involved in strategic decisions are most important to the company, "Mr.

Jobs had written in an email to employees of the U.S. computer group. The meeting also followed a reorganization of management of Google one of its founders, Larry Page, becomes CEO while current CEO, Eric Schmidt, will retain the presidency of the board of directors.
