Capping by the thrust of the Nvidia Tegra 2, Texas Instruments will bring breast at the MWC 2011 in Barcelona with its new quad-core OMAP SoC 5.
The two largest are ARM Cortex A15 2 GHz each, and will accompany him on routine dedicated to image processing, sound and video two Cortex M4 ready for those less demanding tasks dominated moderate power consumption of future phones. The main chips promise a return of up to 50% higher than the current Cortex A9, with improved consumption by 60%.
