Sonos ZonePlayer, wireless speakers for IOS and Android

Not everything will be moving these days in Barcelona. The mobile capital is also full of interesting accessories. In our tour of the Motorola booth we noticed a corner enlivened by good jazz. The musical tracks took us to the Sonos ZonePlayer, a dock or docks wireless, self control. Instead of the traditional port for the Apple player, the ZonePlayer turn the phone into remote control and music source.

They use a Wi-Fi called point to point SonosNet 2.0. To convert our terminal in the heart of these speakers, simply download the appropriate application, currently available only for PC, IOS and Android. The software allows you to control several docks in different parts of the house and from multiple phones.

The music source can be any iTunes library, Spotify and a number of streaming services and online radio stations such as Napster, Last. FM or Deezer. The application encrypts the signal for increased security and allows you to create your own playlist. The company offers three models of the single speaker is the Sonos ZonePlayer own S5, equipped with two tweeters, two cones of means of 3-inch subwoofer and 3.5.

The other two devices, the Sonos ZonePlayer 120 and Sonos ZonePlayer 90 only transmit the signal from the mobile. The first model includes 55-watt amplifier channel you simply place speakers, while the ZonePlayer 90 no amplification and is designed to connect to a powered audio system, is a Home Cinema or Hi-Fi system.

The ZonePlayer has its own optional touchscreen control, but grace is able to compete in musical zapping through the telephone, with other family members. The Sonos ZonePlayer S5 price is around 400 euros but the sound it deserves.
