A touch screen, two cameras and wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi or 3G are the main features of the PSVita, the new portable console from Sony by the Japanese group, Monday, June 6, at the E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles. The replacement for the current PSP, sold nearly 7 million copies in Tech Buzz News since its launch in 2004, is a compromise between the traditional console and the smartphone which it borrows the touch screen and the game wireless network.

Players can control the characters or with the buttons on either side of the unit, either by tapping the screen as is done on an iPhone. The PSVita is also compatible with the PS3, the games console from Sony. A game started on one machine may be resumed on another. Finally, as the Nintendo 3DS and some smartphones, the PSVista offer games and activities in augmented reality.

Available before Christmas, will be sold PSVita 249 euros in Wi-Fi version and 299 euro for the version of Wi-Fi and 3G. For now, Sony has not announced the names of telephone operators who offer packages for this machine 3G in Europe.
